Now is the time to get your equipment checked.
- Have the surface of your ball checked, have it cleaned, maybe resurfaced.
- Have your span checked, you kids did some growing this summer! You don't want to "squeeze the Ball".
- Think about adding equipment that will complement what you already own. If you get a new ball, get one that reacts differently than what you already own, you want a diverse arsenal for different lane conditions.
- If you don't already have one, think about a plastic spare ball, it will increase your average.
- If you get a chance to participate in a "demo day", do so .It is a great opportunity to actually experiance the new balls and see how they work for you. It's not expensive, and you will usually get a discount if you buy a ball that day.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
One of the great things about Bowlympics is that you get into competitive bowling before the school season starts.
